We share why we’re pivoting from pure coding lessons to practical AI productivity, with a focus on local LLMs, LM Studio, and building skills that reduce cost and risk. We explain why code is cheap but software is expensive, and we discuss how to use AI as an assistant rather than as a blind autopilot.

• pivot to AI‑assisted productivity with local LLMs
• value of core skills in JavaScript, CSS, Tailwind, Swift
• rising tool costs and how to save money
• using AI as assistant to reduce risk
• foundations in environments, cloud, browser, servers
• “code is cheap; software is expensive” as a guide
• planning for features, upgrades, and real products
• occasional deep dives in TypeScript and React
• staying updated on tools, models, and workflows

Welcome And New Direction

SPEAKER_00

Hello guys, how are you doing? Welcome to betterarchcoding.ai. And yes, you can find me. You can find us at betteraccoding.com or betteraccoding.ai. Now, this channel was first developed to teach you how to code and giving you all the basics so you can become a software developer. Now, with the new integration of AI, a lot of people don't have either the passion or they don't need, or they want to use AI to make tools, to make software, and or to help in their daily lives. Now, beta coding is gonna be is gonna be pivoting and it's gonna be focusing on how you can use utilize coding, software development, to increase your productivity with AI tools using local LLMs, using LM Studio, so you can run local large language models. So that being said, although coding it is essential, I do understand that a lot of people don't either have the time, don't have the money, or don't have the capacity to invest 40, 50, 60 hours or several months for them to use AI in a way that it can make them money. Because at the end of the day, it's all about making money, it's all about making your life better. And if you're passionate about AI, I think this channel is gonna help you a lot. And because I believe that moving forward, a lot of these AI tools are just gonna get more expensive. Now, for example, Cursor, you can get the max membership for around$200 as the recording of this video. But if you go into the if you I'm sorry, if you go into their if you go to Google and you look how much Cursor is subsidizing that that$100, they're actually saving you around five to six hundred dollars. So you can only so you have so you only have to pay$200. So we don't know what the future entails, but I think that if you have a very solid on the stage, solid under understanding about software development, coding, the more you can utilize this tool and the more money you can save. Because at the end of the day, the more solid foundation you have about the language that you're going to be using for creating your tools, your software, your apps, the more knowledge you have about environments, software development environments, the cloud, the browser, servers, the better you can utilize and can create prompts, can create rules that can better help you in an extremely cheaper way using this AI, using all of these AI tools such as Courser. Because you you don't have to use these AI tools as a full replacement and drive blindly to create all of the software that you want to create. But instead, this channel is going to focus on how you can what you need to what you need to learn and let's say in JavaScript or CSS, Telwin, or Swift if you're coding in AI, or if you're making a website, what services do you need? That way, when you are ready to to make something, to make a software, then you are then you have all the knowledge and you can use AI as an assistant rather than flying blind, making the AI do everything without you having very context of what exactly is happening. Because code is cheap, software is expensive. So let me repeat that. Code is cheap, software is expensive. Down the line, you want to create features, down the line, you want to modernize, and down the line you want to make it into a product, and it's gonna have to live outside your computer, which means that you're gonna have to learn a lot more things in order for this to happen. And this channel is gonna focus on how do you how can you learn and what you need to learn about software and to use AI tools and use LLMs and how to save money. But don't get me wrong, we're gonna dive into some very deep, very complex conversation about, for example, TypeScript, React.js every now and then because this is a coding channel. But I understand that people nowadays are leaning more towards like, hey, let me utilize these AI tools with my coding skills so I can create products. And you and these tools are being used all over the place, including officially in workplaces. This is the correct channel for you to stay in the known, stay updated with the latest news about tools, LLMs, updates, and not only that, we get I'm gonna help you create a solid foundation so you can use these tools to your advantage without having to burn through a lot of money down the line. So thank you for coming. Thank you for listening to the end. And once again, thank you. Make sure you go to YouTube and subscribe. Make sure you go to our website. It's called betteraccoding.com. And that's all, guys. Thank you for listening and have a nice day.
